As most of you know, our beautiful town was deeply affected by the recent floods. Everyone is working around the clock to fix the infrastructure, dig out homes, and restore life back into Lyons. Just this week they were able to turn on electricity on Main Street, allowing some businesses to reopen their doors. Gas, sewer and water will be a bit further down the road. No official timeline is available at this time due to the size of the river, weather and other such unknowns. Lyons Fork is currently unable to open its doors due to these important utilities being down. We have suffered some water damage, but have been working hard to clean up, rip out, and reinstall. The insurance company will not help due to the fact we don’t have Flood Insurance (which we couldn’t have gotten anyway because we are not in the 100 year flood plain), so we are at the mercy of a potential SBA loan and the generous people around us that have been so kind. If you have the means and would like to donate to our recovery, please click the donate button below. We plan to re-open just as soon as we can, and will keep everyone posted. Thank you for your support, patience, kindness and well wishes. This great town of Lyons will be back…stronger!
Cheers! Debbie and Wayne Anderson and the rest of the Fork Family
